A power station uses coagulants mainly on the water side of the plant, and mostly upstream: raw-water clarification protects everything that follows. Liquid PAC - CHIMIFLOC PC 30 and PAC Powder are dosed at the clarifier treating intake water for boiler make-up, cutting turbidity and colloidal load before filtration, ion exchange, or reverse osmosis; aluminium chemistry is often preferred here because it performs across a wide pH window without heavy alkalinity consumption. Ferric chloride (CHIMIFLOC FR 4014) suits stations with high-turbidity surface intakes and is equally at home treating the plant's own wastewater — neutralisation basins, floor drains, and blowdown streams — where phosphorus or suspended-solids limits apply at discharge. Ferrous Sulphate Solution provides an economical iron option for general clarification duties. The selection considerations are specific to power service: residual aluminium or iron carryover matters if clarified water feeds demineralisers or membranes, so ask each supplier about residual-metal behaviour at your dose point; seasonal intake-quality shifts should be covered by jar tests at both extremes. Also ask about dosing-system materials for corrosive iron salts, lead time on bulk deliveries, and packaging options from 200 L drums up to flexitank quantities for stations with high continuous demand.

FeCl₃

Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃) 40% — CHIMIFLOC FR 4014

Ferric chloride is an iron(III) coagulant solution used to clarify drinking water, treat municipal and industrial wastewater, precipitate phosphorus and condition sludge before dewatering. CHIMIFLOC FR 4014 is CHIMI ART's 40% ± 1% FeCl₃ grade with a specific gravity of 1.40-1.45, manufactured at our own plant in Egypt — not resold — with batch traceability and a certificate of analysis supplied with every delivery.

Ferrous Chloride

Ferrous chloride is an iron(II) coagulant solution used for wastewater coagulation, hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) scavenging, refinery de-oiling and oil-production water-flooding systems.
