For 49 years, CHIMI ART has been at the forefront of chemical manufacturing in Egypt and the Middle East. What started as a single-product operation in 1977 has grown into a diversified chemical manufacturer with two modern facilities, international certifications, and a product portfolio serving industries across the globe.

Founded in Cairo as a ferric chloride manufacturer, serving local water treatment plants.
Expanded production capacity and began supplying industrial customers across Egypt.
Opened second manufacturing facility. Diversified into coagulants and pH adjustment chemicals.
Achieved ISO 9001 certification. Began exporting to Gulf region markets.
Launched fuel additives and surface treatment chemical product lines.
Obtained NSF/ANSI 60 certification for drinking water treatment chemicals.
Achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Reached REACH compliance for EU markets.
